 to this secluded cottage retreat.
The lower garden opens out onto terraced lawns
 with panoramic views across the harbour.

Aromatic and herbaceous plants feature on the sunny slope
 overlooking the sea, along with many New Zealand natives.

If you need a get away with total privacy, peace, views and birdsong,
 a stone throw from the water, Kanuka cottage is ideal.
Broad Bay is only 20 minutes from Dunedin
 and Kanuka Cottage is a short drive to the Royal Albatross colony
 and Taiaroa Head, Glenfalloch Gardens, Larnach Castle
 and other peninsula attractions,  including relaxed dining at local restaurants. 

There is a safe swimming beach at Broad Bay,
which is suitable for children.

We do like to meet our  guests,
 so we suggest that you make your way to our home
 at 27 Oxley  Cresent,
 Kanuka Cottage is just down the road
From there we can show you to Kanuka Cottage.

Master bedroom has direct access to the garden through it's own door.

 to enjoy some time exploring the Otago Peninsula
 with its wildlife, walks and wonderful remote beaches
 or take time out and just relax in 'your own home'.
