Shore Cleanup March 2008

Highlights of the day

- Over 20 volunteers (despite the weather!)
- Rubbish cleared from Pineapple Rock to Grassy Point
- Rubbish included car tyres, clothing, glass, cans and plastics.
- Prizes from the Royal Albatross Centre and the NZ Marine Studies Centre
& Aquarium awarded to some volunteers.
- Penny Dixon (Dickson???) found a very special piece of "rubbish" planted
by the Seaweek team as part of the shore clean up throughout the Dunedin
region, and won a special prize for that.
