McAuley Glen"  is nestled in a  private, tranquil  3/4 acre garden which is
well established, beautifully landscaped, filled with color, fragrance and bird song. 
You can wander around the winding pathways, find a hidden seat,
enjoy a glass of  wine in the summer house or under the pergola,
relax  in the Jacuzzi spa, or  take some time out in the sauna.

Mary and Patrick invite you to indulge in their warm, friendly kiwi hospitality.
Join us for refreshments, nibbles and a chat, we have a combined 33 years living on the Peninsula
and welcome the opportunity to  share our knowledge of the area.
We are happy to advise on/book your excursions, you are assured of our personal attention.
McAuley Glen provides accommodation  for two parties at any one time, 
however if complete privacy is desired, please inquire about sole occupancy.

Your gourmet breakfast, cooked and continental, is served  in our sunny dining room overlooking the garden, it’s a relaxed atmosphere where you can often meet
other travelers and share some stories.
Popular with most of our guests are, a fresh fruit smoothie,
delicious home made pancakes topped with wild berries, maple syrup and cream.
Home made cereals, yoghurts and fresh fruit platters are laid out for your selection...
Treat yourself to the farm house fillers made from local produce (when available)
and free range eggs along with breads from Mary's oven, home made jams,
marmalade and manuka honey, finish with a mug of freshly ground filter coffee
or select from our range of fine teas including herb and fruit.

Our Boutique accommodation is set on the ground floor and consists of two "luxury suites", designed and furnished with  comfort
and quality in mind, the decor  has a romantic ambience featuring neutral colors and warm accents.
 
The "Ambrosia suite" has one queen size bed.
The "Lauralie suite" has one queen size bed and an adjoining room with twin single beds.
Both suites have there own private entrance with views out to the garden. LCD TV, DVD, CD,
Both suites have an enclosed service unit  fitted with micro wave, fridge, toaster, cutlery, crockery etc. along with a selection of teas,
fresh coffee, home baking, Cadbury's famous "Roses" chocolates, and a measure or two of a fine tawny port.
Both suites have a spacious, fully tiled bathroom featuring:
 walk in shower, heated floor, heated towel rails, hair dryer, thick cotton bathrobes and personal products.
