Excerpt from these works

A MAGPIE
He sat
straight beaked
very definite in mood
no grey
this day
all to him
was black and white
Set with beady
birdy eye
I wonder what
he thought of
the human
he spied.
Then with loud flap
flew past me
swooping
with disdainful
squawk
to remove
a fat
grass grub
from the field
at my feet
needs
easily satisfied,
if man
could solve
himself
so simply.
